<h1>RiveScript Developers</h1>

As of January 13, 2009 -- about one year after the RiveScript 2 Working Draft
was started -- the Perl RiveScript interpreter has caught up to everything
outlined in the draft. Thus, the working draft is stable enough that I can
recommend others to program RiveScript interpreters in other languages!<p>

Currently interpreters are being developed for the following programming
languages:

	<li>Java (In development; no releases yet; <a href="http://svn.kirsle.net/repos/RiveScript-java">svn repository</a>)</li>

If you would like to start work on a RiveScript interpreter for another
programming language, join the <a href="/yabb2/YaBB.pl">forums</a> and post
a thread in the <a href="/yabb2/YaBB.pl?board=rsinterp">Common Interpreter
Discussion</a> board. Doing so may get a new board added specifically for
development for that programming language.<p>

If you'd rather contribute to one of the other RiveScript projects, check
in to the boards in the <a href="/yabb2/YaBB.pl?catselect=libdev">Interpreter
Development</a> category on the forums.

If working on your own project, be sure to keep up with changes to the
<a href="$link:draft">RiveScript Working Draft</a> so your library can take
advantage of the latest feature proposals!
