I've just released version 1.22 of the Perl RiveScript module. It's mostly just a maintenance release. Documentation was cleaned up, and...<p>

The <strong>rsdemo</strong> command was removed from the distribution. In its place is a new <strong>rivescript</strong> command. The command can be used the same way as rsdemo could (to interactively test your RiveScript bot), but it also has features for using it non-interactively.<p>

So, for example, a bot programmed in C++ (a language that doesn't yet have a native RiveScript library) would still be able to use RiveScript by just opening a pipe to the <code>rivescript</code> command, and communicating with it using JSON.
